Walk the Talk
Does your dog...
-
Pull you around on walks?
-
Bark and get excited by other dogs and people?
-
Constantly potty on your walks?
Walking your dog should be enjoyable, and I can help you achieve this!
This program will teach your dog to walk calmly and confidently on a leash without pulling you around or toward other dogs or people in eight 1-hour sessions. This program includes the Foundations program, where you will learn how to train sit, down, stay, come, and place commands. I will also help you understand your dog’s motivations, build on play-based behaviors, and how to use them to your advantage. Lessons can scheduled at your own home, my private training room, or a public location in the Hampstead area, and I will provide recommendations on location as we progress in the program.
*Please note, this program does not cover dog or human aggression or separation anxiety.
Humane and effective tools may be needed for your dog’s training lessons and are included in the program. These tools may include a slip lead, Herm Sprenger prong collar, a Mini Educator E-collar and/or K9 Lifeline transitional leash “The Sidekick.”
